Maria (Ciampa) D'Alelio of Somerville passed away on Friday, December 15, in Burlington. Born in Chiusano San Domenico, Avellino, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Clementina Ciampa.
Maria was the beloved wife of the late Anthony D'Alelio, and the devoted mother of Tina D'Alelio and her husband Stephen Harvey of Burlington where Maria resided and was cared for lovingly for the past six years, Mario D'Alelio and his wife Maria of Stoneham, and Anthony D'Alelio and his wife Felicia of Somerville. She was the loving grandmother of Nick DiGirolamo and his wife Inna, Diana Segool and her husband Brian, Daniel DiGirolamo and his wife Danielle, Jenna Hull and her husband Scott, Melissa Cirino and her husband Michael, Kristina Imbriano and her husband Arthur, Valerie Taylor and her husband Adam, Janine Finn and her husband Patrick, Mario D'Alelio Jr., Anthony, Arianna, and Michael D'Alelio, Joseph Caratelli, and Robert D'Alelio. Maria was predeceased by five dear siblings. She is survived by her sister-in-law Angelina Ciampa of Stoneham, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, December 20 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Tuesday, December 19, from 4 through 8 PM.
