Mr. Charles M. Gerrior, Sr., of Taunton, entered into rest Friday, December 15 in the Brigham and Womens Hospital, Boston, following complications from surgery. He was the beloved husband of Elaine L. (Milot) Gerrior. He was born 61 years ago in Middleboro, the son of Leo and Mary (Soucie) Gerrior, Sr. Charles was educated in Middleboro, received his Bachelor’s Degree from Bridgewater State College, and had been a Taunton resident for the past 31 years. Prior to his illness, he was a self-employed Systems Analyst for a number of years. Charles was previously employed in the I.T. Departments of several area firms. He enjoyed NASCAR, camping, was a New England Patriots fan, and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, of Taunton, and parents, of Middleboro, he leaves: 2 sons: Charles M. Gerrior, Jr. and his wife, Kendra DeMoura of Savannah, Ga., and Matthew D. Gerrior and his fiancée, Francesca DeCapita of New York, N.Y.; 1 brother: Leo J. Gerrior, Jr. and his wife, Judith of W.Franklin, N.H.; 3 sisters: Mary Cass and her husband, David of Westport, Catherine McKernan of Mashpee, and Linda Rose of Middleboro, and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Wednesday, December 20 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
