Edna Mae Goins Eubanks Morgan, 89, of Albany passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Vista Park Health and Rehab in Douglas. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2017, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Jimmy Parker officiating. Mrs. Morgan will be laid to rest at the First Baptist Church of Ty Ty Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Clinton Moore, Allen Tanner, Ray Johnson, Lindsey Evans, Jonathan Lomax and Tommy Nash will serve as pallbearers.
Born October 7, 1928 in Seville, Mrs. Morgan was the daughter of the late Arthur Grady “Boy” Goins and Alma Mae Parker Goins. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Eubanks and her second husband, Preston “Bud” Morgan. She was a homemaker and member of Salem Baptist Church in Worth County. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Albany and enjoyed yard work and wildlife. She had lived in Albany for 40 years, moving there from Eldorado.
Mrs. Morgan is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Wilma Eubanks of Ty Ty; one daughter and son-in-law, Sonia and Jack Brice of Albany; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jody and Laymond Fussell, Joey Eubanks, Jamie Eubanks, Piper and Steve Parrish and Clay and Christy Brice; and five great-grandchildren, Molly Jo Fussell, Casin Wilson, Jaden Eubanks, Landon Brice and Sydney Brice.
