Pauline M. Bramwell, 64

Dateline: Norton, MA

Pauline M. (Fournier) Bramwell, age 64, of Norton, passed away, surrounded by her devoted family, on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of Bradford K. Bramwell, to whom she was wed on June 27, 1975.

Born in Attleboro, MA on November 17, 1953, she was a loving daughter of the late Joseph G. “Jerry”, Sr. and Gloria (Ferreira) Fournier.

Pauline grew up in Attleboro. She later moved to Norton and was a 1971 graduate of Norton High School. After starting her precious family, she returned to the Southeastern Regional l Vocational School and received her certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

For many years, Pauline had worked as an LPN at Sturdy Pediatrics Associates in Attleboro. She had made her home in Norton for the past fifty years and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norton, where she also served as a former religious education teacher.

Pauline’s family, especially her treasured grandchildren was the focal point and center of her life. While her daughters were growing up, she unselfishly volunteered much of her time at their schools.

Pauline also enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting, gardening, and prided herself on the gracious appearance of her home.

In addition to her beloved husband of forty-two years, she is survived by her loving daughters Heather L. Daniel and her husband Jeremy of Attleboro, and Heidi M. Ruiz and her husband Peter of Douglas. She was cherished grandmother of Jeremy “JJ” and Anna Daniel, and Maxwell and Zachary Ruiz. She was the dear sister of Patricia Chastenay and her husband Paul of Norton, Donna Fournier-Johnson and her husband Glen of Attleboro, Jennie Fournier of Boston, Deborah Vanada and her husband Chuck of Berkley, and the late Joseph G. “Jed” Fournier, Jr. and his late wife Karen. She was the adored sister-in-law of Stephen Bramwell and his wife Carol. Jeffrey Bramwell and his wife Nancy, Gregory Bramwell and his wife Patricia, Mark Bramwell and his wife Michelle, and Todd Bramwell and his wife Nichole all of Norton, and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.



Her funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 19th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Power St., Norton. Burial will follow at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 18th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.


In lieu of flowers and in respect to her love for children, Pauline’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Hasbro Children’s Hospital, Rhode Island Hospital Foundation, Development Office, P.O. Box H, Providence, RI 02903.
