Christy Ann Douglas, of Brockton, formerly of Medford, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 11th. She was 33.
Born in Winchester, she was raised in Medford and attended local schools. She Graduated from Medford Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1999 with a concentration Electrical Technology. After high school, Christy worked as an Apprentice Electrician.
In her spare time, Christy enjoyed reading Stephen King novels and fishing with her family at D.W. Field in Brockton. She was a fun, kind, loving and caring person with a big heart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Christy was the cherished daughter of Cheryl (Ciano) Douglas and Raymond Collins of Brockton, and the late Alan J. Douglas. She was the loving granddaughter of Vincent Ciano of Medford, and his late wife Shirley, and the late Forest and Gertrude Douglas. Christy was preceded in death by her dear brother, Alan V. Douglas. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Monday, December 18th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Christy’s name may be sent to the charitable organization of One’s choice.
