VIRGINIA LEE (SCHACKERT) ELDRIDGE, 89, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017.
She was a founding member of Briargate Presbyterian Church where she served as the choir director for over 40 years. Her passion was music and not only could she play the piano well, she had the voice of an angel.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Early Bryan Eldridge.
Survivors include her four children, Evon Biggers (Lynn), Bryan Eldridge (Joleen), Stuart Eldridge (Janet) and Lee Eldridge (Keomany); grandchildren, Falon, Ryan, Whitney, Brittany, Chase and Autumn; and great grandchildren, Jaylin, Jazara and Faith.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Briargate Presbyterian Church, 2100 Upper Hunters Trace with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
