Worcester-Richard C. Rice, 65, of Worcester passed away Wednesday, December 13 at UMASS Medical Center.
He leaves two children, Christopher Rice and Melanie Rice; a brother, David and his wife, Susan of Millbury; a sister, Patricia Daly of Worcester; a sister-in-law, Mary Rice of Worcester and nieces and nephews. A brother, Ernest M. Rice, Jr. predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Ernest M. and Adella M. (Mikenas) Rice and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School.
Richard worked for the Boilermakers Union Local #29 in Boston, before retiring.
A Private Graveside Service will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint John’s Food for the Poor Program, 44 Temple St., Worcester, 01604. Arrangements in the care of CALLAHAN~FAY~CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St.
