Anna May Hicks of Needham, MA. passed away peacefully at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham on December 8, 2017. She was a graduate of Barnard College, class of 1950. She enjoyed a long career, retiring from MIT. She is survived by her loving sister Cornelia H Smith and her husband Leslie of Champaign, IL. She was a loving aunt to Phyllis S Ramos and her husband Jim of Champaign, IL, and Jonathan E Smith and his wife Lori of Vicksburg, MS. She was also great-aunt to several nieces and nephews. Grave side service will be held Friday December 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Duxbury Mayflower Cemetery, 774 Tremont St, Duxbury. Memorial service will be held Tuesday December 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Kindred Assisted Living-Avery Crossings 110 West St, Needham. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Stray Pets in of MA, Inc. PO Box 812143, Wellesley, MA 02482. Or a charity of your choice.
