David Albert St. Pierre ‘ST.”, age 69, peacefully passed away at his home, on December 11, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Springfield, MA on May 28, 1948, to the late Albert and Frances (Neece) St. Pierre. David was a student at Chicopee High School, class of 1966 and was a proud member of the Chicopee Drum and Bugle Corp. David worked 18years for Finest in Windsor Locks, belonging to the Teamsters Local 559. He happily retired in 2011 after 16 years as the best grounds keeper for Chicopee Country Club. David fought his bravest fight, leaving behind his loving partner of 19 years and fiancé Brenda Chapman, son David Pepin (Elaine Pepin), Matthew Sean St. Pierre, fiancé Lize Brault of Brattleboro, VT, his favorite daughter Meagan Nicole St. Pierre Harnum, son-in-law William Harnum of Springfield. He absolutely adored and lived for his three granddaughters, his baby girls, Layla Grace, Olivia Taylor and Fiona Willow (Stella Blue too), and dear friend, Kate Healy Howe. David touched many lives in so many ways. His passion for life and music and the infinite love for his family and friends was the compass his life followed. David was a true lover of all walks of life and embraced every moment with the philosophy of peace and love. We will miss you so and love you more… A service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 9:45 AM from the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a Memorial Mass to be held at 11:00am at Holy Name Parish in the Assumption Church in Chicopee. Burial is private. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Grise Funeral Home.
