Donna Kay Dickson Dejban, 68, of Alexandria, Virginia passed away Monday, December 4, 2017, in Virginia. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Dejban at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 13, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born September 13, 1949, Mrs. Dejban was the daughter of the late, George and Cleo Dickson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Willis Dickson and Robert L. “Bobby” Dickson; and one sister, Betty D. Branch. Donna grew up in Tifton and graduated from Tift County High School and ABAC. Donna was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and served many years in the United States Department of State. She was ever so humble in taking credit for her accomplishments, but felt honored to serve her country.
Mrs. Dejban is survived by her husband, Saeed Dejban of Alexandria, Virginia; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Ann Dickson of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
