New Bedford – Helen E. (Budd) Entwistle, 90, of Acushnet died after a brief illness on October 22, 2005 at The Oaks. She was the widow of John W. Entwistle.
Mrs. Entwistle was born in Acushnet, daughter of the late James A. and Elizabeth (Hageloh) Budd, and was a lifelong resident of the town. She was a member of Clifford Union Chapel, New Bedford. She was employed during WWII at the Acushnet Company and later worked for many years at Aerovox, New Bedford. After retiring, she helped her husband run his business, the former Entwistle Hardware, New Bedford. She was a member of the Agawam Chapter # 121, Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a sister: Alice A. Acucena of Acushnet; and several nieces & nephews.
She was sister of the late James Budd.

Funeral service on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. at the KIRBY FUNERAL HOME, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford.

Interment in Long Plain Cemetery, Acushnet.
