Michelle Mendonca, 57

Michelle Mendonca, age 57, most recently of Wareham, formerly of Taunton, where she resided most of her life, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the longtime companion of Tim Rogers of Taunton.
Born in Taunton, MA on August 23, 1960, she was a loving daughter of the late George P. and Angelina (Rodrigues) Mendonca.
Michelle grew up and was educated in Taunton. She attended college and received certificates in accounting. She had worked as a cook at My Sister and I in Bridgewater and also in the marketing industry as a saleswoman.
Michelle treasured times spent in the presence of her adoring family. She loved fishing and was an avid gardener. Michelle also enjoyed taking trips to Cape Cod Canal in Bourne and yearly whale watching excursions in Plymouth.
In addition to her companion Tim, she is survived by her devoted children Joshua M. Mendonca, Rhiannon K. Mendonca and Timmey R. Mendonca all of Taunton. She was the dear sister of Ed Mendonca of Wareham, Deb Mendonca of Wareham, Ann Mendonca of Taunton, Michael Mendonca of Taunton, Mark Mendonca of Florida, and the late Donna Welch, Matthew Mendonca and Carol Brooks. She was the cherished grandmother of Lily, Russell, Jolie and Emma, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, January 3rd from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Taunton Funeral Home, 8 Crapo St., (Off Route 140, Tremont St.) Taunton.
A service in celebration of her life will be held at the conclusion of visiting hours at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home
