Danny B. Stanley, 74, of Anderson died December 7, 2017 at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born, February 11, 1943 in Maysville, Kentucky, the son of Daniel and Druzella (Turner) Stanley.
He served in the United States Navy during Viet Nam.
He worked in specialized trades department of Guide Lamp for 32 years of employment before retiring in 1995 he also owned and operated Dan Stanley and Son Septic Tank and Sewer Service.
He is survived by his four children, Barbara (Mitch) Gaunt; Danny (Nancy) Stanley, Regina Stanley and Francie (Greg) Blowers; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Charity and Lottie.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery with military graveside rites.
Visitation will be from noon until the service at 2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Wounded Warriors' Project.
