In Taunton, Guilherme DaCosta, December 6, 2017, passed away in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness with his loving family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife Maria (Carvalho) DaCosta of Taunton. Guilherme was born in Candelaria, St. Michael in the Azores. He moved to America in 1969. Guilherme worked at Balfour Company in Attleboro. He enjoyed watching television, gardening, and yard work, playing cards with his friends and spending time with family. Guilherme is survived by his two sons William and Daniel DaCosta of Taunton, his siblings Manuael Costa of Dartmouth, Gil DaCosta and his wife Bertha of Taunton, Joseph DaCosta and his wife Loudres of Ontario, Maria Sousa of Ontario, Gloria DaCosta of Candelaria, St. Michael and the late John Costa. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brian and Aliana DaCosta and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday, December 12th at 9 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church in Taunton at 10 am. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours on Monday from 4-7 pm.
