Beverly E. Marsigliano-Goulet, 71, of Lake Drive, Chepachet, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Overlook Nursing Home, in Pascoag. She was the beloved wife of Richard J. Goulet. They had been married for 40 years.
Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Earle H. and Pearl (Phillips) Bassett. She had lived in Chepachet and had previously lived in Providence. She had volunteered at a nursing home in Pascoag for many years.
Beverly was the President of the American Legion, Post 88, women’s auxillary, a volunteer for Operation Standown and a member of Martha Washington, #18 Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star.
Besides her husband, Richard, she is survived by her children: James R. Marsigliano and his fiancée, Sandra E. Edwards of Chepachet, David E. Marsigliano and his wife, Michelle of Warwick, her granddaughter, Nicole and her three children, as well as her extended family, Julie and her children, Amber, Michaela and Nathan, and Danny and his daughter, Skyla, her sisters: Deborah Dubois of Coventry, Cynthia Dillon and Claudia Cote, both of East Providence and her brother-in-law, Arthur Gould. She is predeceased by her step-daughter, Pauline Goulet.
Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, Massachusetts.
