Obituary

Edward E. "Ted" Pringle, Jr. of Winchester died on Sunday, December 3, at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. Raised in Swampscott, Ted was a graduate of Swampscott High School. Tufts University and received his masters of Education at Salem State University. Ted received early admission to both Harvard and Tufts at the age of 16 and was a member of Mensa. He was the son of the late Edward E. and Laura (Toman) Pringle. Edward proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a devoted Vietnam War veteran. His career spanned four decades in the Greater Boston are, where he worked as a Technical Writer in the technology and defense industries.

Ted was the beloved husband of Carol Ann Caputo T. Pringle, and the devoted father of Victoria Pringle and her husband Daniel Orcutt of South Woodstock, Vermont. He was the loving grandfather of Annika and Emily, and the dear brother-in-law of Audrey Caputo of Winchester. Ted is also survived by his beloved dogs Olivia and Vita.

Memorial Service from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, December 13 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9 through 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
