Evans, GA – Etta Rae Moody, 63, loving wife of 46 years to Robert C. Moody, entered into rest on Saturday, December 2, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel with Rev. Timothy Pendrey officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Etta Rae was born in Augusta, GA to the late Wilbur and Pauline Ebersole. She worked for many years at Augusta University Medical Center (MCG) as a Certified Procedure Coder for Physicians Practice Group. Etta Rae loved children and would often spend time holding and rocking babies at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Even though she had no children of her own, she treated all children as if they were hers, especially her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her sister; Debbie Ebersole Hudson and husband John T. Hudson, Jr. of N. Augusta, SC, niece; Heather H. Colley (William) of Grovetown, GA, nephew; J.T. Hudson, III, of N. Augusta, SC, and six great nieces and nephews; Hudson Colley, Xander Colley, Marcus Hudson, Kaylee Hudson, Emmett Hudson, Brodie Hudson.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
