Luther, Freida (Shrader),90, passed away Sunday December 3, 2017.
Freida fought a tough fight with West Nile Virus, but lost her battle with her family by her side.
She was born February 2, 1927 in Rosalie, AL to the late Rev. George and Clara Shrader.
Her siblings Grady and Zella preceded her in death, as well as her husband, John M. Luther.
She was a retiree from Brown-Foreman after 26 years, and a proud member of their bowling league.
She was always ready to lend a helping hand and took much pride in her yard and flowers.
She is survived by her children, Wendell Luther (Donna Kelly), and Peggy Holt (Don); grandchildren, Randy Holt (Shannon), Robin Holt (Larry), Chris Luther (Christy), and Dana Crawford (Troy); nine great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Don Shrader.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Entombment is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is Wednesday 2:00-8:00 PM.
