Gloria J. MacDonald, 74, of Milan, NH, passed away on Friday December 1, 2017 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, after a period of declining health. She was born in Worcester, MA on February 27, 1943 the daughter of the late Laurant and Lucille (Bernier) Bergeron and lived in Massachusetts until 1988, when she moved to New Hampshire. Gloria loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother and loved being with her family. She enjoyed playing BINGO, painting, crocheting, playing on the computer and was an avid reader. She was a very social person who loved spending time with her best friend, husband Richard.
Family includes her husband Richard MacDonald of Milan, NH; her children Richard MacDonald Jr. and wife Emily of Berlin, NH, Brenda Hutker and husband Tim of Melbourne, FL; Bryan MacDonald of Milan, NH and Gayle Secinore and husband Jim of Berlin, NH; grandchildren Alyssa, Jeffrey, Timothy, Andrew, Leeann, Michael and John; six great grandchildren; sisters Lois Soulor of Westboro, MA and Linda Richard and husband Ernie of Westboro, MA; nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The American Diabetes Association, PO Box 15829, Arlington, VA, 22215 or to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY, 10016. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
