FALL RIVER - Hilda (Couto) Viveiros, 82, of 829 Wilson Rd. Fall River, died Thursday, October 20, 2005 in Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Joseph Viveiros of Fall River for 57 years. She is survived by 1 son: August Viveiros of Westport, 1 daughter: Nancy Cote of Fall River, 1 brother: William Couto of Adamsville, RI, 2 sisters: Loraine Belanger of Fall River & Adele Jean of Tiverton, RI, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, & several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Evelyn Boyd.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Manuel Couto and the late Marion (Ouellette) Couto. She was a resident of Fall River for 57 years, previously living in Adamsville, RI. Prior to retiring, she had worked 46 years as a Seamstress for Anderson-Little. She was a member of St. Michael's Church.
Her funeral will take place on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at 9:00 A.M. from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. Michael Church, Essex St. Fall River.
