Doris G. (Bolduc) Plourde 92, of Franklin, died peacefully, at home, with family at her side, Friday December 1, 2017, following an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Lucien A. Plourde, who died in 2014.
Born April 30, 1925 in Nashua, New Hampshire a daughter of the late Wilfred and Gertrude (LaJoie) Bolduc, she was a former longtime resident of Nashua and Daytona Beach, Florida, before moving to Franklin.
She was raised and educated in Nashua, and for many years worked as a floral designer.
Doris enjoyed walking, reading, swimming, and bicycling. She also treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Vivian D. Fiorillo and her husband Frank of Franklin, her grandchildren, Christopher Fiorillo of Zurich, Switzerland, Timothy Fiorillo and his wife Nicole of Franklin, Rev. Patrick Fiorillo, Parochial Vicar, St. Ann/St. Brendan Parish, Dorchester and great grandchildren, Samuel, Emma, Alexis and Milana Fiorillo.
She was the mother of the late David N. Plourde and sister of the late Cecile Grendron, Rita Bolduc and Wilfred Bolduc.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass Wednesday Dec. 6th, at 12PM in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Square, Franklin. Interment will be on Wednesday December 13th, at 11AM at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua, New Hampshire.
There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o St. Mary’s Church, Franklin.
