Diane C. Bednarz, age 68, passed away on Nov. 28, 2017. She was born on Oct 1, 1949 to Andrew and Doris J. (Vandal) Bednarz. Diane received a Bachelor’s degree from Adams State College and resided in Kingston, MA. She was an elementary teacher at the Dennett School in Plympton, MA before retiring. She was a member of the NEA and MTA. Diane was responsible for cable at the Dennett School. She did volunteer work with the elderly in Kingston and loved animals and gardening. She leaves her mother Doris J. Bednarz of Chicopee and one sister Sue Kennison and her husband Thomas of Las Vegas. A Funeral Service will be held on Mon, Dec 4, 2017 at 10:30 AM from the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee, MA with a funeral home prayer service to take place at 11:30 AM. Burial will take place on Tues, Dec 5, 2017 at 11 AM in Calvary Cemetery in Chicopee. Calling Hours will be held on Sun, Dec 3, 3017 from 2 to 5 PM at the funeral home.
