Obituary

Carmen L. Frederico
Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather

Carmen L. Frederico age 84, beloved husband of 60 years to Phyllis Cuoco Frederico died peacefully at his home in Tewksbury, Mass on Tuesday, November 28th after a brief illness.

He was born in Everett, Mass, August 9, 1933. He loved sports and was a high school standout in baseball while pitching a no-hitter for his varsity team. An avid sports fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics, he followed them up until his last days. He had a passion for gardening and could grow just about anything. He was especially proud of his ability to grow artichokes in the New England climate. He loved to play scrabble, play cribbage, dance, sing, and play the clarinet. Carmen was very dedicated and loyal to God, his wife, and family. Carmen had a "super good" attitude with a contagious laugh especially when laughing at his own jokes. He was always positive even while enduring his illness. He never once complained. He was truly an inspiration, an amazing man loved by many.

Carmen worked as an insurance salesman up until just four months ago. He loved people which is what made him a great salesman. He could always be counted on to brighten up the sales office at work and encourage his coworkers to excel at their job.

Carmen served in the Army while being stationed in Europe during the Korean War. He met his wife when he came home from serving in the Army. He knew he was going to marry Phyllis the first time he met her.

Besides his wife, Carmen is survived by his brother Peter from the Cape, his son Peter, his daughter Theresa and husband Michael, his son Carmen and wife Kim, his daughter Jody, his daughter Cindy and husband Bob, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
