Laconia------ Alvin F. Shea , 68, of Dixson Street, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Concord Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
Alvin was born February 18, 1949 in Rochester, NH son to the late Milard J. and Katherine (Brewer) Shea. He has worked in construction for over 18 years before retiring. Alvin was also an active member of the Laconia Foursquare Church.
Alvin enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He also liked going out to eat with his wife but above all he enjoyed spending time with his children.
Alvin is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Hagan) Shea of Laconia; his son, Allen Shea of Concord; his daughter, Elizabeth "Liz" Shea of Northfield; a brother, Donald Shea of Milton; a sister, Patricia Sanfacon and her husband, Robert Sanfacon Jr. of Rochester and two nephews, Jon W. Ellis and Timothy A. Ellis. He is predeceased by his parents.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 2, 2017 at 11 A.M. at the Unitarian Universalist Society at 172 Pleasant Street Laconia, New Hampshire.
Burial will be at a later date.
