Paul A. Levins passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Born in Boston, Mr. Levins was raised and educated in the Boston Schools and a graduate of Boston English High School. Paul was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and Korea and a retired 40 year employee of the International Longshoreman’s Assn. He was a late member of the Knights of Columbus, Dorchester and D.A.V. #22, Dorchester. He also loved to sing in the Fuller Village Chorus. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara A. (Cody), devoted father of Robert W. of Quincy, Dr. Paul C. and his wife Mika of CA, Neil D. of MI and Andrea D. Levins and her husband Kevin O’Connell of Braintree and cherished grandfather of Marissa McDonough-Sloane and her husband Zachary of Braintree, Ashley of NYC and Cody Levins of MI, Derek McDonough of Braintree and Lucien and Nicole Levins of L. A. and loving great grandfather of Ella London Sloane. Paul was the brother of Jean O’Neill of Winchester, Ann Whittaker of Norwell, Joseph C. Levins of South Boston and the late Robert Levins and Mary McGrath. Funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church, Milton on Friday morning, December 1st at 10. Visiting at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton Thursday, November 30th from 4 to 8 PM.
