SOMERSET – Olive P. (Moniz) Cabral, age 89 of Somerset, passed away on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel P. and Georgiana Moniz and the beloved wife of the late Gil T. Cabral. Prior to retiring, Olive worked for former Bradlees Dept. Store as a District Store Manager.
She was the mother of Vivian A. Cookson, her spouse Wayne Cookson and Deborah A. Almeida both of Somerset, Ronald T. Cabral of Fall River, the late Kenneth T. Cabral, and the late Stephen T. Cabral; the beloved grandmother of Wayne S. Cookson, Kevin J. Cookson, Douglas E. Cookson, Stephanie L. Sutherland, Nathan T. Cabral, and Sean T. Cabral; the beloved and cherished great grandmother of Jadin W. Cookson, Casey L. Cookson, Chelsea A. Cookson, Preston J. Cookson, Brody J. Sutherland, Blake M. Sutherland, Dominic T. Cabral, and Valentina Cabral.
Her private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River.
