Ronda J. Cushman, age 55, of Taunton, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved spouse of Jeanne M. Boughner, to whom she had spent the past 33 years of her life with. The couple was wed on May 21, 2004.
Born in Portland, Maine on December 11, 1961, she was a loving daughter of Brenda A. (Buck) Cushman of Westbrook, Maine and the late Robert L. Cushman.
Ronda grew up in Westbrook, Maine and was a graduate of Westbrook High School. She attended the University of New England, and in 1984 graduated with an associate’s degree as a physical therapist assistant from Becker College.
Ronda spent the majority of her working years as a physical therapist assistant at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home-Garden Place in Attleboro. She had made her home in Taunton for the past thirty-three years.
Ronda’s greatest passion in life was daily exercising and her home. She loved her yard, gardening and the simple pleasure of relaxing around the pool amongst family and friends.
Ronda enjoyed spending time in Provincetown and traveling, especially to Disney World, Key West, Florida and Aruba. She also loved the Sound of Music, entertaining her patients at work with Madonna songs, and was a loyal fan and supporter of the New England Patriots.
In addition to her spouse Jeanne and mother Brenda, she is survived by her dear brothers Greg Cushman and his wife Jen of Raymond, ME, Mark Cushman and his wife Julie of Poland, ME, and her 3 brother-in-laws and 4 sister-in-laws in CA and MA She is also survived by her aunt Carolyn and uncle Allan of Cape Elizabeth, ME, as well as 2 nieces from MA, 11 nephews from ME, MA and CA, a great-nephew and niece in CA, several cousins from ME, MA and MI, and a wealth of friends all of whom loved and were loved by her.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of her life on Monday, December 11th from 2:00-6:00 P.M. at the Chateau Restaurant, 48 Bay Road, Norton.
