Derrick Silva, age 41, passed away unexpectedly November 26, 2017. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Ernest Silva and Margaret Raposo.
Besides his parents he is survived by his brother Aaron Silva of Fall River; girlfriend, the love of his life, Katrina Miranda; maternal grandparents: Manuel & the late Deolinda Raposo; maternal aunts: Maria Gouveia (husband Eddy) of Westport and Goretti Silva (husband Henry) and Lucy Gaglio (husband Joe) of Fall River; maternal uncles: John Raposo (wife Pilar) of São Miguel, Açores and Manuel Raposo (wife Danielle) of Fall River; paternal grandparents: the late Serafim & Maria Silva; paternal aunts: Marilia Barbosa (husband Carlos) of Taunton, Margaret Silva and Isabel Fernandes (husband Orlando) of Fall River and Cecilia Oliveira (husband Steve) of Westport; paternal uncle Joseph Silva of Fall River and nephew Ryan M. Silva of Fall River and many cousins.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Thursday here at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church at 9 A.M.
