In Brockton, November 22, 2017, Dale S. Roberts Sr., Passed away in the Brockton Veterans Hospital following a brief illness. Dale is survived by his wife Judith (Thompson) Roberts of Raynham. He was born in Newport, RI, the son of the late Kenneth & Roberta (McBride) Roberts. Dale has been a resident of Raynham since 1981 and was formerly of Newport. He served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. Dale was a graduate of Rogers High School in Newport and also a Rochester Institute Tech Graduate. He was employed as the lot manager for the Mazda Gallery in Norwood. Dale is survived by his children, Dale Scott Roberts Jr. of Portsmouth, RI, Kimberly Roberts of Raynham, Brian Roberts of Windham, ME, Edwin Roberts of Portland, ME, Margarita Roberts of Fall River, Scott Roberts of Fall River, Milagro Silva and her husband Jonathan of Taunton and Alicia Roberts of Raynham. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren. Dale leaves his siblings, James Roberts of S.C., Theresa Hanlon of Newport, David Roberts of Oklahoma City, Edwin Roberts of S.C., Robert McBride of S.C. and Benjamin McBride of Fall River. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral home visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 1st from 10-11:30 AM. at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 Funeral service and military honors will take place at the Bourne National Cemetery in Bourne, MA at 1:15 pm.
