Gail E. Linehan (Hester) of Canton died November 25, 2017 peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family. She was 81 years old. Gail was an active parishioner of St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. She was a member of the Canton Garden Club and St Gerard’s Altar Guild and St. Gerard’s Care and Share. Gail was also an avid quilter. Devoted wife of Daniel J. Linehan of Canton. Loving mother of Allyson E. Linehan of Canton, Sean G. Linehan and his wife Patricia of Mashpee, Dennis W. Linehan of Holbrook, Christopher M. Linehan of Raynham, and Maura K. Linehan of Charlestown. Sister of the late Edmund Hester and his wife Clair and Robert Hester. Sister in-law of Kay Hester of Mashpee. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton Tuesday, November 28th from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday in St. Gerard Majella Church 1860 Washington St., Canton at 10 AM. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery.
