SOMERSET - Olympia (Pereira) Torres, 94, of 455 Brayton Ave., Somerset, formerly of 695 No. Main St., Fall River, died Wednesday at the Somerset Ridge Center. She was the wife of the late Charles Torres. She is survived by 2 sons: Ronald Charles Torres and Michael Joseph Torres both of Fall River, 1 Daughter: Rosalie Patricia Welchman of Tiverton, RI, 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren,1 Great Great Grandchild, and Several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late John Perry, Peter and William Pereira, Mary Cabeceiros, Irene Brilhante, and Louise Travis.
Born in Swansea, MA, the daughter of the late Martiniano Pereira and the late Maria(Cabral Raposo) Pereira. She was a Somerset resident since 1999, previously, she resided in Fall River. She was a Homemaker and was a member of St. Michael Church.
Her PRIVATE funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, Ma. on Friday at 8:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael
