FALL RIVER – Dorothy “Dot” (Silvia) Swage, age 86, passed away on November 24, 2017 at Sarah Brayton Nursing Care Center. Born in Fall River, she was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Swage and daughter of the late Lawrence C. Silvia & Maria (Perry) Alves. Dorothy was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church for many years and was a member of the Sacred Heart Seniors.
Dorothy is survived by her son Warren Swage, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William Silvia, Angelina “Annie” Alvey, Idalina Mello, Irene Bowler, Seraphine Silvia & Donatilda “Tilly” Mendes.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday here at 10 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Anthony of Padua Church at 11 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Mausoleum. Calling hours on Monday from 6-8 P.M.
