Lydon K. Gauthier, age 57 of Bridgewater passed away peacefully on November 22, 2017. Lydon was born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of Mary Ennis and the late Thomas Gauthier and was raised in W. Bridgewater. He was a graduate of W. Bridgewater High School. After graduation Lydon served in the US Army from 1979 to 1983, stationed in Fort Knox, KY. After serving in the army he began his career at Braintree Hospital and remained there for 30 years.
Lydon was known to his family as Donald but to everyone else he was Lydon. In his last days he was taken care of by his mother and his brother Paul who made sure he was always comfortable. Lydon loved all New England sports.
In addition to his mother Mary Ennis of Easton, he is survived by his siblings; Debbie Marcroft of Ashland, NH, Merri Gauthier of Brockton, Paul Gauthier of Easton and Joni Gauthier of Taunton. He was also the brother of the late George and Thomas Gauthier and leaves many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 2pm at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. Visiting hours have been omitted.
