Peter Mancini passed away on November 22, 2017. He was 86 years old.
Peter was a longtime resident of Malden. He worked for many years at Walbar Company as a machinist and supervisor, and was a longtime member of the Italian Citizens Club of Malden. Peter was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, who took his Italian tradition with him from Italy with his cooking and gardening.
Peter was the devoted husband of 64 years to Michelina “Lina” (Colangelo) Mancini. He was the beloved father of Anna Giarusso, Lisa Panos, and Ralph Mancini. Peter was the dear brother of Nina and Gino Mancini, Tonina Bracaglia, and the late Angelina Mariani, and brother in law of Frank Colangelo and his wife Carmella and the late Angelo and Christine Colangelo. Cherished grandfather of Andrea Giarusso, and Nina and Perry Panos.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday November 27th at 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-7pm.
Interment will be private.
