Rosemarie Veglia passed away on Sunday, November 19th at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center of Burlington. She was 82. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and the late Rose (LaVita) Manza. Raised in Somerville she lived there a good portion of her life before moving to Medford 28 years ago. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She worked part-time at a local Pharmacy, enjoyed Bingo with her friends, but ultimately loved time for her family.
The beloved wife of Victor L. Veglia, she was a devoted mother to Karen Baldwin and her husband Vincent of Melrose, Jeff Veglia and his wife Nancy of Lynnfield. She was a loving grandmother to Jonathan, Joshua, Ashley, Joseph, Jacqueline and Alexis. She was a dear sister of Frederick Manza, Jr of Quincy, Richie Manza and his wife Lois of Florida and the late Joan Ann Manza.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday, November 25th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 5 - 9 PM. Interment will be private.
