TEWKSBURY: Sandra A. (Weiss) Iskra, age 52, a lifelong resident of Tewksbury, died Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at the Winchester Hospital.
She was the wife of Steven A. Iskra, with whom she would have celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary on January 16, 2006.
Born in Lowell on June 17, 1953, she was the daughter of Walter P. “Red” Weiss of Tewksbury and the late Helen (Keough) Weiss.
Mrs. Iskra attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1971.
She later attended a real estate licensing school and received certification as a real estate salesperson.
Mrs. Iskra was employed as a real estate salesperson for the past 6 years by the office of Century 21-Starwood of Wilmington, where she received numerous sales achievement awards. In addition, she worked for 26 years as an assembler inspector at Ametek Aerospace of Wilmington.
She enjoyed gardening and caring for the landscape of her home.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by one son; Jess M. Mader and his wife Colleen (Danahy) of Tewksbury; two step-sons; Steven A. Iskra, II of Hudson, NH and Marc C. Iskra of Townsend; one brother; William W. Weiss and his wife Eileen (Strombos) of Tewksbury; three nephews; Ryan and Brandon Weiss both of Tewksbury and Devon Pregno of Torrington, CT; many aunts, uncles and cousins including her uncle; Richard W. Weiss of New Hope, PA; also her close friend; David Hellwig of New Hope, PA.
Calling hours Thursday, October 20th from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral service Friday, October 21st at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
