ASSONET – Michael P. Gray, age 75, passed away on November 20, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Limerick, Ireland, he was the beloved husband of Maura (Quirke) Gray and son of the late Thomas and Margaret “Rosie” (Moore) Gray. Michael was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Along with his wife, he leaves behind his children: Catherine Pontes of Assonet and Michael Gray of AR; a brother: Peter Gray of Boston, 4 sisters of Ireland and Uncle Paddy Moore. As well as 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; many cousins; nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his grandson Brandon Gray.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Saturday with extended calling hours from 8:30-10:15 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernard’s Church, Assonet at 11:00 A.M.
