WESTON: Carol (Goulder) Hinckley, age 80 of Weston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 16, 2017.
Dear wife of Ralph Herrick Hinckley, M.D. for 57 years. Devoted mother of Lynn Hinckley Coughlin and her husband David of Sudbury, Anne Hinckley Pankowski and her husband Joe of Darien CT, Deborah Hinckley Leibole of Wellesley and Ralph Herrick Hinckley, Jr and his wife Mary Pat of Weston. Cherished grandmother of Connor, Caroline and Evan Coughlin, Edward and Thomas Pankowski, William and Grace Leibole, and Charlotte, Samuel and Ryan Hinckley. Sister of the late Robert Freeland Goulder III and of Norma Goulder Savin and her husband Samuel Savin of Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Norma Lindeman Goulder and the late Robert Freeland Goulder, Jr., she graduated from The Laurel School and Mount Holyoke College and earned a Masters Degree from The Harvard Graduate School of Education, following which she taught school in Newton. Active in the Weston community, her service included multiple terms on the Town’s School and Finance Committees as well as leadership roles on boards of The First Parish Church and The Weston Garden Club.
A Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration for the Life of Carol G. Hinckley will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at eleven o'clock in the morning at The First Parish Church,
349 Boston Post Road, Weston, Massachusetts.
