WALDRON - W. Frank Waldron, 76, of Fernandina Beach passed away November 12, 2017 at UF Health in Jacksonville, FL.
He was born March 27, 1941 in Jacksonville and moved to Fernandina Beach 25 years ago. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans of America and was a Master Mason of 44 years service and member of the William B. Barnett Lodge No. 187. He was a Shriner and participated in the motorcycle escort unit for over 20 years. Mr. Waldron was also veteran of the U. S. Army.
He was a devoted husband and loved fishing, NASCAR and the Jacksonville Jaguars. He also loved his dogs, Skeeter and Chance.
Mr. Waldron was predeceased by his parents, W. H. and Cordell Waldron.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 26 years, Brenda Waldron; two sons, Richard Waldron (Tina) and Kevin Waldron (Melissa); a daughter, Melissa Smith (Allen); three step daughters, Tami Carpenter (Danny), Wendy Mullis and Susan Mullis; a sister, Lisa Williams; 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home on Monday, November 27, at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Jackie Hayes officiating. Interment will follow with military honors in the columbarium at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
