HALPERN, Aaron J. of Winthrop formerly of Wareham, passed away on November 13, 2017. He was 67 years old. He was the beloved husband of Sally E. (Rascicot) Halpern. Born in Boston, he was the cherished son of the late Isadore and Selma (Landa) Halpern. Devoted father of Michelle A. Lento and her husband Robert of Winthrop and Joel M. Halpern and his wife Dawn of Fall River. Adored grandfather of Isaiah, Maxwell, Isabella and Christian Halpern. Dear brother of Edward Halpern of Brockton, Judith Keone of Needham, Bobby-Ann Rabonivtz of Hull and Mary Ditsch of Roslindale. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Temple Tifereth Israel 93 Veterans Rd. Winthrop on Sunday, November 19 at 12pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. The family will receive condolences following the Service from 2pm till 4pm at 36 Waldemar Ave. Winthrop, MA. Aaron was an entrepreneur and business owner in the carpet cleaning industry for many years. From 2006 until 2011, he was the cleaning manager for the Cottage Park Yacht Club in Winthrop.
