Constance M. (Kuszewski) Lambert, 85, of Worcester, died Monday, November 13th in Dodge Park Rest Home. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert J. Lambert, Jr. and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brother, Bernard Kuszewski and her sister Teresa C. Cortesi.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of Vincent and Anna (Mathewieu) Kuszewski. Connie was a graduate of South High School and attended Quinsigamond Community College. She had been employed at the former Hahnemann Hospital for 21 years retiring in 1993. Connie was a member of the National Association of Hospital Admitting Managers, the Worcester Horticultural Society, Mechanics Hall, Preservation Worcester, the Worcester Art Museum and had been a former Girl Scout Leader at St. Charles Borromeo parish. She was an accomplished artist, and studied at the Worcester Art Museum and Boston Art Schools. She also enjoyed spending time attending week long seminars with other painters from around the country, as well as gardening and served as a tour guide at Tower Hill for children's programs.
Connie's family wishes to thanks the Notre Dame Hospice team for their care and concern provided to Connie and their communication with the family. Thank you Dodge Park for the loving care and attention to her needs by all the members of the Dodge Park Family. Again, Thank you all!
Her funeral is Friday, November 17th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant Street. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, November 16th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
