Virginia G. (Chuilli) McDonald, 78 years, of Brockton died Friday at BayPointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center after a lengthy illness. Born in North Abington, the daughter of the late John N. and Dorothy L. (Greenwood) Chuilli, she had been a resident of Brockton since 1948. She graduated from Abington High School, class of 1945 and later attended a Boston Business School. She retired as a self employed real estate broker from her own firm, Ginny McDonald Real Estate of Brockton. Previously she had been employed by Shultz Realty of Brockton. From 1961-1984 she and her husband Van V. McDonald operated Vincent’s Restaurant on High Street in Brockton.
She is survived by one son Mark A. McDonald of Bridgewater, two daughters Carol J. Perrotta of Brockton, Cathy J. Cullen of Carver, three brothers David J. Chuilli of Florida, George L. Chuilli of Florida and Earl F. Chuilli of Rockland, two sisters O. Louise Bodge of Pennsylvania, Barbara M. Benham of Rochester, NY, seven grand children, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her former husband Van V. McDonald.. She was the sister of the late Frank, Peter and Arthur Chuilli.
A Private Family Service was held Tuesday followed by her burial in Melrose Cemetery.
