In Taunton, Richard L. Lavoie Jr., Age 48, passed away in his home unexpectedly on November 12, 2017. Richard was born in Taunton, the son of Richard & Arlene (Henrique) Lavoie of Taunton. He was a lifetime Taunton resident. Richard was a Bristol Plymouth Regional Technical School graduate. He was employed in the construction field. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing video games and spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his beloved sons Alex and Adam Lavoie and his former wife Melanie Lavoie all of Norton. He also leaves his two sisters Danille and Michelle Lavoie of Taunton. A funeral home service will be held on Friday, November 17th at 11 am. at O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours on Thursday from 5-7 pm. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
