Janyce Lynne Reagan, age 56 of Hyannis, died peacefully, Sunday November 12, 2017 at her home. Born and raised in Brockton, Janyce was the beloved daughter of Robert F. and Suzanne E. (Campbell) Reagan of East Bridgewater. She was a 1979 graduate of Brockton High School where she was a member of the Women’s All Scholastic Basketball Team. She was a 1983 graduate of St. Anselm College, and earned her BS degree in Nursing. A dedicated healthcare provider, Janyce had been employed as a Registered Nurse for Massachusetts General and Cape Cod Hospitals and retired from Home Health Care. She also worked at Paul Taylor Associates. She was devoted to her family and dog, Baby. Janyce was an avid sports fan, especially of college football and the New England Patriots.
In addition to her parents, Janyce is survived by her brother Jay P. Reagan and his wife Nancy of West Des Moines, IA, and was the aunt of Colleen M., Patrick J., Kerry C., Christopher J., and Matthew F. Reagan. She was the sister of the late Robert F. Reagan, Jr. and Christopher R. Reagan.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday 3-7pm. A funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 11am followed by private burial at Melrose Cemetery. Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made in Janyce’s name to the Christopher R. Reagan Memorial Scholarship Award Fund, c/o Harbor One Bank, 295 Bedford Street, Bridgewater, MA.
