New Bedford – Juliette B. Marshall, 88, of New Bedford, MA passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at Alden Court Nursing Home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Frank R. Marshall and daughter of the late Elizeu B. Frias and Maria Encarnacao Frias.
Juliette is survived by her children; Thomas F. Marshall and his wife Kathleen, David M. Marshall and his wife Paula, Robert Marshall and his late wife Karen, John A. Marshall and his wife Christine and Judith Bettencourt and her husband Douglas; 12 grandchildren; Erin Marshall, Anne Dominguez, Andrew Marshall, Ross Marshall, Ellen Marshall, Jason Marshall, Joshua Marshall, Robert Marshall, Timothy Gouveia, Ian Bettencourt, Jillian Marshall and Chelsea Marshall; 5 great grandchildren; Hailee Marshall, Jonathan Marshall, Jordan Marshall, Claire Marshall and Benjamin Marshall; her sister; Leonilda Macedo, as well as several nieces and nephews and her good friends Sophie and Joe Mello. She was the sister of the late William Frias and Olga Anthony.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours Monday, November 13, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St, New Bedford, MA. Her funeral will be celebrated, Tuesday morning beginning in the funeral home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe at St James Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers a donation can be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the loving and caring staff at Alden Court Nursing Home.
