BERNARD E. CISSELL, 80, passed away November 8, 2017.
He was a retired employee of General Electric, a member of Gospel Kingdom Church, and an Army veteran.
Preceding him in death were his parents and five siblings.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 50 years, Rachel (Fields) Cissell; his children, Missi Thomas (Nathan), Glen Cissell (Andrea Reece) and Rob Cissell (Sharon); grandchildren, Shelby Malin (Sean), Meaghan Cissell (Casey McClain), Kayla Thomas, Matthew Cissell, Madeline Cissell, and Katherine Cissell; great grandchildren, Emily McClain and Samuel Malin.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Gospel Kingdom Church, 4742 Cane Run Road with burial in Gospel Kingdom Campground, Shepherdsville, KY.
Visitation will be from 2- 8 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and after 12 p.m. Saturday at his Church.
