Michael P. Mulvey Sr., age 73, passed away on Nov. 4, 2017 at Holyoke Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 8, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and Lucyanna (Steinhoff) Mulvey. Michael worked for many years for the City of Chicopee DPW. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time at Lake Champlain in VT. Michael is a former communicant of Holy Name Parish in Chicopee. He leaves his loving wife Nancy (Fife) Mulvey of Chicopee; 2 sons, Craig Mulvey and his wife Dawn of Springfield and Michael Mulvey Jr. of Chicopee; 1 daughter Shari Mulvey of Chicopee; 1 brother John Mulvey and his wife Dorian of TN; 4 grandchildren Jessica Romani, Caitlynn Gilkes, Amber Lombard and Jonathan Lombard and 8 great-grandchildren: Arriana, Emilia, Trinity, Nathan, Ebyn, Nykola, Cyra and Rhys. Calling Hours will be held on Fri. Nov. 10, 2017 from 4 to 7 PM at the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee, MA with a Prayer Service to take place at 6:30 PM. Burial will be private for the family.
