WORCESTER___Ann E. (Shattys) Tonelli, 90, formerly of Dana Ave., died Sunday Oct. 16 in Radius Healthcare Center, 119 Providence St. Her husband, Joseph G. Tonelli died in 1995.
She leaves a daughter, Joan E. wife of Robert D. Malanson of Auburn; a son, Robert J. Tonelli and his wife Janet of Henderson, Nevada, five grandchildren, Linda wife of Mark Sansoucy, Susan wife of Timothy Michalowski, Patricia Malanson, John Tonelli and his wife Kathleen and Sharon wife of Jaime Ventura, six great-grandchildren, Bobby and Trevor Sansoucy, Jessica and Joe Michalowski and Emma and Jared Tonelli. She was predeceased by a brother, Casimir Shattys. She was born in Amsterdam, New York and has lived here for most of her life.
Mrs. Tonelli worked as an assembler many years for Telechron Co., in Worcester and then GE Telechron Co., in Ashland and retired many years ago. Ann was a member of St. Stephen’s Church and it’s Legion of Mary.
The funeral will be held on Thursday Oct. 20 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass 11 am in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday Oct. 19 from 5 to 7 pm.
