LIMINGTON- Limington resident Gordon Walter Hall age 96 passed away at his home on November 2, 2017 after a brief illness
Walter was born June 3, 1921 in Manchester New Hampshire where he lived and was educated. He served in the United States Army Air Corps was during World War II where he was a gunner and later an air traffic controller.
In 1946 he married Mary A. Busta in Lawrence MA and lived in nearby Haverhill
In 1957 Walter moved his family to Limington Maine and lived in the same home for more than 60 years. He was an accomplished woodworker and enjoyed restoring old clocks and an avid old bottle collector
He is predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Mary Hall, a son Clayton Hall, three brothers and a sister. Charles Hall of Lowell Ma., Richard Hall of Methuen Ma., WilliamHall of Connecticut, and Beatrice Hall of Los Angeles California.
He has three surviving children. Cliff Hall and his wife Irene of Longmont Colorado, Linda Fletcher and her husband Al of Newfield Maine and Leslie Chase of Limington, Maine. Also several Grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At Walters request there will be no services held.
