BALDWIN- Christine Lea Watson, age 64, passed away on Nov. 6, 2017 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.
She was born in Baldwin on Nov. 2, 1953, a daughter of the late Charles and Marguerite (Parker) Harrington. She attended Baldwin schools, Potter Academy and Sacopee Valley High School.
Christine worked as a convenience store clerk for many years while she raised her family. Being an Air Force wife, Christine and her family lived in many places during her husband's service. However, the family settled back in Maine when her husband was diagnosed with ALS.
She will always be remembered for the enjoyment she doing crafts including knitting, and going to camp in Athens.
Christine is predeceased by her husband Robert Watson Sr.; and children- Robert “Robbie” Watson Jr. and Billie Jo Sanborn.
She is survived by her partner- Dennis Potter; daughter- Melissa Bartlett and her husband Eric of Buxton; brothers- Delbert Harrington and his wife Celia and Dennis Harrington; sister- Pam Howell; grandchildren- Samantha, Shanna, Robert and Richard; great grandchildren- Zachary and Cayden; three step grandchildren- Haily, Bethany and Colby; and Dennis' children- Denise, Darlene, Dale, Debbie, and David.
Visiting hours will be on Friday Nov. 10, from 11 AM – 1 PM, followed by a 1 PM funeral service at the Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St. (Rt. 25) in Cornish. Burial will follow at the Old West Baldwin Cemetery.
